Internet & TV Connectivity Troubleshooting and Support

As you may know, NVA provides the Village’s residential units with high-speed, fiber-based internet through Race Communications (formerly Atherton Fiber) and cable TV through DirecTV Stream. NVA no longer provides residential telephone service, but unit owners may obtain that service directly through Ooma VoIP for a one-time setup charge and monthly taxes.
For service issues, please see the instructions below. NVA plans on creating cards that contain this information for placement in the residential units this spring during the regular, in-unit semiannual maintenance.

Internet Connectivity Issues

Please call Race at 877-722-3833 (8 am – midnight, 7 days a week), and:

Please note that if you have disconnected the Wi-Fi router or have changed the original configuration of the internet wiring in your unit, then that likely will impact Race’s ability to troubleshoot your internet connectivity issue. Race is able to connect to the Wi-Fi router it provided, and get visibility to the internet connection in your residential unit, but only if that Wi‑Fi router is plugged in correctly.
